Birds !

Birds are vertebrates (animals with backbones) with wings and feathers. Most birds can fly, using powerful muscles to flap their wings. … Birds’ bodies are covered with a light, tough layer of feathers and they have very light skeletons. Instead of teeth, they have hornlike beaks, or bills.

Swans live up to their reputation of being very beautiful birds. Their elongated, curved necks and white feathers stand out amongst the lakes they reside on. They are very large birds and can weigh up to 30 pounds, measuring anywhere from 56 – 62 inches in length.


Duck

The main difference is that ducks have shorter necks, and are smaller. Other swimming and diving birds, like grebes and loons, are not ducks. A baby duck is called a duckling, and a male duck is called a drake. Most ducks are aquatic birds . Duck is the common name for numerous species of waterfowl in the family Anatidae. Ducks are generally smaller and shorter-necked than swans and geese, which are members of the same family. 


Chicks

Chicks are baby birds . Chicks are the young ones of the chicken . Chickens make amazing pets! They are sweet, loving,and unlike other pets they actually provide the owner with something (eggs). They are a huge commitment for the first few months and will require constant care.


Little sparrows

They are also known as old-world sparrows. Sparrows often make their nests near houses or buildings. This means they are one of the easiest birds to see in the wild. The genus has about 30 species around the world. They have the ability to fly at the speed of 38.5 km/hour and can even reach a speed of 50 km/hour. Males and female house sparrows can be easily distinguished by the feather colouration: males have reddish backs and a black bib, while females have brown backs with stripes. Sparrows raise three nests of 3-5 eggs.


Owl

Most owls have huge heads, stocky bodies, soft feathers, short tails, and a reversible toe that can point either forward or backward. Owl’s eyes face forward, like humans do. Most owl species are active at night, not in the daytime. There are about 250 species of owls in the world.

There are so many blue birds on the earth one of then is the Bluebird . The bluebird is a symbol of hope, love, and renewal and is also a part of many Native American legends. It symbolizes the essence of life and beauty. Dreaming of bluebirds often represents happiness, joy, fulfillment, hope, prosperity, and good luck


Duckling

With their fluffy feathers and tiny little faces, baby ducks, or ducklings, are as cute as they come. Ducks are part of a group with swans and geese called waterfowl. These birds make their habitat in and around the water. A duckling is simply just the name for a young duck
